The locations where the JOLLY KIDS and JOLLY TEENS programs developed by the Academy of English are being implemented.
Dr. Ganchimeg Zagdaa founded The Academy of English on August, 2005. A lecture on “Strategiees for Sucessful English Learning” was organized for the first time in Mongolia in cooperation with the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
Starting in September of that year, full-year academic English courses were held for both business English and teenage learners.
In 2006, “The Brain Bread” was published as a bilingual English-Mongolian 120-page color magazine, accompanied by CD.
In 2007, six-month business English courses specifically tailored for executives at Mobicom Ltd. and Newtel Ltd. were launched. That April, a successful inter-class English language competition was also organized to enhance students' presentation skills.
A year-long professional English language course was organized for engineers and technicians at the invitation of the Bor-Undur Concentrator Plant.
An interactive, elite English language course was organized for the executives of Skytel LLC.
In addition to successfully organizing English language training for middle managers at Newtel LLC, TOLES certification was obtained, along with official authorization to operate as an international test center for legal English.
In December, the first branch of Toastmasters International was established in Mongolia.
The Toastmasters Mongolia club was led by AOE alongside business English training for Chono Group executives.
The Toastmasters club under the MCS MBC organization was established, and a special English language training program was organized for the engineers of the MCS Tiger.
A summer English language course was organized for the employees of Spirt Bal Buram LLC.
On September 1, 2014, the English language outsourcing program of "Oyuun Tulga" secondary school commenced, set to run for three years. Additionally, the first admissions for the Jolly Kids, Jolly Teens, and IELTS7UP programs were launched, with full-year training conducted for each. An interview about Mongolia was also featured in the Toastmasters Organization magazine.
The Jolly Guys academic English program successfully completed its year-long course with the first intake. In October, the First Conference of the Toastmasters and the National Convention speech contest were successfully organized.
In addition to the main Jolly program trainings, the employees of the NGO "Good Neighbors" completed a six-month English course. The first English language Olympiad for the Gobi region was also successfully organized. On March 15th, the World Speech Day was held for the first time at the President's Civic Chamber, and a speech competition was established as a future tradition
World Speech Day was successfully organized for the second year.
The outsourcing program of "Oyunii Tulga" secondary school was successfully completed over three years, during which it achieved 5th place in the country for English language courses.
In September, the first branch was opened in District 3, and English language courses for students were launched. Additionally, the "Jolly Parents Day" event for parents was successfully organized in December.
The Jolly Teens speech competition was held in February, and World Speech Day was successfully organized for the third year in collaboration with the Human Rights Commission.
In May, a grand celebration was held for the students' graduation, and the third branch was opened in the Khan-Uul district, expanding operations.
World Speech Day was successfully organized for the fourth consecutive year in collaboration with the United Nations Children’s Fund.
Jolly School opened a new branch at the Bayanmongol campus and celebrated the graduation of its students in May.
The Mongolian Pride project was also launched, marking the start of a program to showcase Mongolian heritage, history, and culture in English, aimed at enhancing cultural knowledge and pride.
A new book titled Learning English is Easy was introduced.
During the 2020 pandemic quarantine, courses were successfully transitioned online, and a series of 11 "QN Tuition" vlogs for easy English learning was developed.
In 2021, 300 children graduated from the online English learning program, and new programs—Jolly Drama and Jolly Eco—were developed and introduced into the curriculum. Jolly Kids and Jolly Teens also launched their own anthem.
Youth Leadership speech contest was held at the Academy, featuring 100 selected children from each branch.
A Do28 textbook was published, and e-learning was introduced.
Additionally, in response to requests from parents and students, the Academy opened a new branch at Yarmag to expand its activities.
